A message from Mrs. Kim Reese
I believe my life’s calling is to work and minister at Faith Training Christian Academy. I love children, I love education, and I especially love my Lord. These three make working here my dream job. My heart is attached to this place and to the students and I count it as a true privilege to come to work here every day.
The year of our inception (2003-2004), I started as a classroom teacher teaching 1st and 2nd grade combined. With the Lord’s blessing, our growth saw to it that it was the only year we had to combine grades. A couple years later I moved into administration and have served as elementary principal, high school administrative assistant, and then back as the elementary principal. I now serve as the FTCA School Administrator and high school principal.
We started this school with a desire for a spirit of excellence. After all these years, I can honestly say that we work very hard to maintain this position. We hire high quality teachers, we use the ABEKA and BJU curriculum, we maintain a clean, healthy environment and we practice financial integrity. Our ultimate goal is the spiritual well-being of our students.
Our week starts off on Monday with Elementary Chapel and our week ends with Jr.High/HS Chapel. Can there be a better way to start or end the school week? Non chapel days, Bible is taught first things in the morning.
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33
We stand on the promise in Proverbs 22:6, that if we “train a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it”.
If you’re interested in placing your child in an academically strong school that is also nurturing and Christian-based please come by and visit with us. We look forward to meeting you!
