When the Army brought our family to JRTC at Fort Polk, we never dreamed what a blessing we would find through FTCA. Working as a fourth grade teacher under Mrs. Reese's leadership continues to be one of my favorite professional highlights. She inspires her team through excellence and spiritual guidance. On many occasions I saw her administrative gifts at work when dealing with parents, students, and fellow staff. She treats everyone who comes through her office with dignity and respect, always balancing firmness with grace, and always with a smile.
As a parent, we loved our experience at FTCA for our 5th, 7th, and 9th graders. The teachers create such a nurturing and supportive environment inside and outside of the classroom through chapel, sports, and clubs. As a military family we appreciated FTCA's four day school week, affording us the gift of family time. By keeping classes small, our kids felt truly known and valued--something not always easy to come by as the chronic "new kids." The mission of the school supports a strong partnership with service member families which is truly a gift.
FTCA welcomed our family with open arms and helped us all grow in wisdom and truth during our tenure in Leesville. We will continue to carry with us for years to come the wonderful memories and connections we made at Faith Training.
