Report cards will be distributed to the students at the end of each nine-week grading period.  Parents will review and sign the report card before the students return them to the teacher. 

Progress reports will be issued to students at the midpoint of each grading period.  These progress reports must be signed by a parent or guardian and returned to the teacher within a week.

Grading scale for grades 1-12 is the seven-point scale.  (100-93 =A; 92-85=B; 84-75=C; 74-67=D; 66-0=F)

We provide After School Care until 5:30 p.m.  You may choose to pay $85 for the month or pay by the hour.  The cost is $3/hour or any part of an hour.

The A Beka curriculum used is Christian oriented and designed to be challenging so as to provide the basic academic and intellectual habits and skill required for success in secondary school, college and life.

FTCA uses the state high school math curriculum along with the A Beka.

All students take the Stanford Achievement Test. 

Faith Training Christian Academy is committed to the furtherance of the Fine Arts, the Sports Program and Extra-curricular activities.  The Academy offers Chorus, Piano, Yearbook, Praise & Worship Team, Art, BETA club, 4-H Club, Girls' Basketball, Boys' Basketball, and Girls' Softball.

Enrollment has drastically increased these past few years at Faith Training Christian Academy.  When FTCA opened in 2003, we had an enrollment of 70 students.  Our enrollment this year is 415+.

Faith Training Christian Academy gives glory to the Lord for its lovely facilities!  The elementary building was built in 2003.  The following summer we added 4 new classrooms, and in the summer of 2006 we added an additional 4 classrooms, another boys and girls restroom, and a lower teacher's lounge. The beginning of the 2009 school year brought another new building which houses the junior high and high school students. This building features an office for high school principal, Mr. Reese;  a computer lab; and eight classrooms, bringing the total number of rooms campus-wide to twenty-three.  The summer of 2011 brought us a new library building.  Also added were two buildings to hold music and art classses.

We are excited to have completed our gymnasium and cafeteria and have full use of this long awaited addition. 

Faith Training Christian Academy is supported soley by student tuition and gifts from friends of the Academy. FTCA is administered by two full-time principals, Mr. Richard Reese in the high school and Mrs. Johnnie Santos in the elementary; Administrative Assistant, Mrs. Kim Reese; Elementary Secretary/Bookkeeper, Ms. Sue Jeane; High school secretary, Mrs. Genevieve Wilson; Office Technician, Mrs. Margie Reese; and a six-member school board.   

FTCA provides hot lunches for all students, Monday-Thursday.  Price for lunches is $3.75/day.  Our cafeteria also offers ala carte items for purchase.  We are blessed to have a licensed dietician, Kathy Mitchell, running our lunch program.  Parents can register their children on www.myschoolaccount.com, for ease of payments and also to keep up with account balances.  If you have any questions on how to register your child please contact the school offices.  Payments for school lunches must be paid through our church, Family Worship Center.

The Academy's schedule is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Fridays.  Students may be dropped off between 7:30 a.m. and 7:55 a.m.  School starts promptly at 8:00 a.m.

The main office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
